Sophie opened the Occasional Goldsmith in 2015, providing a bespoke service, designing, creating and remodelling fine jewellery pieces form her studio nestled in the heart of Bristol Old City.

She uses both traditional goldsmithing skills and cutting edge technology to design and make each piece,using responsibily sourced materials.

With a passion for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, Sophie is drawn to the sentimental and personal nature of ‘one of a kind’ items of jewellery and how every piece tells a unique story.

Specialising in the creation of bespoke engagement rings and wedding rings, she encourages a collaborative design process with her customers, to provide an enjoyable creative experience, to produce truly special pieces of jewellery to love and to cherish.
