The Occasional Goldsmith can make all pieces of jewellery from recycled gold, platinum, palladium and silver. In using recycled precious metals we are helping to minimise the harmful environmental effected caused by mining.

We are proud to be a supplier of Fairmined Ecological gold. This responsibly mined gold does not use toxic chemicals, including mercury and cyanide during the extraction process. It also ensures Miners are protected against the risk of being exploited by traders, which often leads to poverty. Paying a little more for Fairmined gold, will provide Miners with a fair deal for their work, investing in their livelihoods and communities.

The Occasional Goldsmith is committed to the use of gemstones which have been sourced through transparent supply chains, allowing for traceability, to ensure all our gemstones are ‘conflict free’ and have been mined fairly, using environmentally-friendly processes.
